Who this covers

This policy applies to www.upwarddevelopment.us, operated by Upward Development LLC, 1650 E Gauthier Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70607. It describes what we collect when you use this website or contact us through it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form, call, text or email us, we receive what you send — typically your name, phone number, email address, the address or location of the property, and a description of the work you are asking about. We only ask for what we need to respond to you and price the job.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site or search that referred you. This is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful.

Analytics and third-party services

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure site traffic. Google sets cookies and processes that data on its own terms. You can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on, and most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

Form submissions and inquiries are delivered to and stored in our customer management system, which is operated on our behalf by Found It Marketing. They process that information for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Pages on this site may embed content hosted by third parties, such as video. Those providers may set their own cookies when that content loads.

How we use it

We use what we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry and schedule a look at your property
• Scope, price, perform and invoice work you ask us to do
• Follow up about a project or estimate you asked us about
• Understand which parts of the site people find useful
• Meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to other companies. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf — such as our customer management system, email provider and analytics provider — with subcontractors or suppliers where that is necessary to do work you have asked for, and where the law requires it.

Calls, texts and messages

If you call or text 318-452-7653, we keep a record of the conversation so we can pick up where we left off. If you give us your number and ask us to contact you, we will use it to talk about your project. We do not send marketing text messages to people who have not asked for them, and if you ever want us to stop contacting you, say so by any method and we will.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and project records are kept as long as we have a business reason for them — an active or possible project, a warranty question, or a legal, tax or insurance requirement. When there is no longer a reason to hold something, we get rid of it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do that unless we are required to keep it. Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
